Cost-effective and energy-efficient blown-in insulation

City Wide offers two types of blown-in insulation materials: fiberglass and cellulose. Instead of being installed in batts, fiberglass can also be blown into spaces with an industrial blower. Alternatively, cellulose is recycled paper product (that’s treated to be fire resistant) including newspaper, cardboard and wood and is considered more environmentally friendly. Either can be used to effectively insulate awkward spaces that might be harder to accomplish with other materials like fiberglass batts. This makes blown-in cellulose and fiberglass insulation great picks for those who want to achieve a tight, effective seal while still taking advantage of the cost-effective nature of the materials.

City Wide’s blown-in insulation installers have years of experience with this process, and only use the best materials on the market to ensure your building is insulated effectively. Operation error can often result in uneven application and ultimately loss of energy efficiency — you can count on our professionals to make sure the job is done right.

Advantages of Blown-in Insulation

Easy installation process

There’s no need to tear down walls with blown-in cellulose or fiberglass insulation. Our team simply sprays material for a complete and tight seal.

Great energy efficiency

Spraying material into a space makes it easier to reach all the awkward spaces and gaps in a room. This results in more complete coverage that doesn’t allow heat to leak out.

Effective noise reduction

Gaps in insulation allow noise to travel through with ease — but with blown-in cellulose or fiberglass, leaks are fully sealed, meaning noises are more effectively dampened.
